Why would mediocre be okay?

Have you read David and Goliath by Malcom Gladwell?

If you haven't, consider reading it. Gladwell explains how "too much" can also be problematic. We need to think about life with a pendulum. He writes "we underestimate how much freedom there can be in what looks like a disadvantage" in attempt to implore the reader to comprehend that what is revered as the best, or the Goliath, metaphorically, might not be. Scientifically, statistically, graded on a curve, Gladwell proves David was actually more qualifies than Goliath and wasn't the "underdog" the world has made him to be.

So, what's my point?

My point, the concept of mediocre is a mental construct. When we make peace with the idea that we could be mediocre, we have the freedom to engage in our unlimited potential. Do it badly. At least you're doing it! And once that habit is implemented, growth is exponentially easier!

Happy growing, friends!
